"Huddersfield and District Model Aircraft Club were looking for a new venue in which to hold our AGM and we were very fortunate in finding Stocksmoor Village Hall. The hall is a great space and our AGM went ahead without a hitch. A bonus is the heaters work very well and the hall was lovely and warm in no time at all. We also made use of the excellent food preparation facilities in the kitchen to provide our members with pie and peas. Everyone who attended commented on what a great venue it was and we will most certainly be back there again in 2026".

"I am the organiser of the Pennine Folk Club. At the end of August 2025, the Club decided to relocate from the existing venue that we had been using. I looked at various options, but finally went for Stocksmoor Village Hall, and I'm so glad that we did. I initially dealt with Liz, who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, and we've been using the Hall for the last three months, both for our regular monthly meetings and also for a live music gig that we arranged. The hall is modern and well kept, and has a fantastic kitchen area that has everything that you could need. It's exceptionally clean and tidy everywhere, has disabled access and modern toilets, and a small car park. Pennine Folk Club has found it's utopia, and I can thoroughly recommend Stocksmoor Village Hall as a venue for any event, and ideal for anyone looking for a venue for a new (or existing) venture".

"Thanks so much for letting us use the Village Hall. It was a superb location and worked perfectly for what we needed it for. My daughter had such a great night. Everything felt so fresh and new from the tables and chairs to the facilities. We couldn't believe how much of everything there was and how clean everything was. Nothing like any other village hall I have ever been to. The brief from my daughter was "somewhere to dance with my friends where I can have a disco atmosphere" and the Hall did not disappoint. I could close the curtains, set up some lights and the dance floor was most of the floor space so ideal. Thanks again for letting us use it".
